Cardboard Self-Portraits – Kid’s Nature Art
Soak up your last days of summer sunshine outside with your little ones making and photographing this adorable nature craft!
Bonus! You’ll have as much fun (and maybe even MORE fun) than your child with this one.
What you’ll need for this Kids’ Art Nature Face craft:
- Cardboard (an easy way to use up some of those extra Amazon boxes)
- Scissors
- Paints, markers, or crayons
Steps:
This craft is pretty simple. If your child is old enough, have him/her draw an outline of their face and get creative decorating his/her face – otherwise assist where needed. When you’re done drawing, coloring, and/or painting the facial features, simply cut your face out. I recommend making one for yourself, too. Now, you’re ready for the fun part!
Get outside and start exploring
📷 Photograph your face with CRAZY, FUN, CREATIVE hair! Make sure to be on the lookout for unique textures and colors.
One of my besties did this craft with her two little girls and her photos are amazing! Thanks for sharing, friend! All photo credits are to the creative momma, Andrea Stanley!
We hope this idea motivates you to create your own “artful” outside adventure!
